District 2 (OH) Indivisible
We had another great meeting on Sunday night. The turnout was 50+ people, which is double the size of our first meeting. Attached is the PowerPoint presentation for those who could not make it. Here are the highlights:
• We heard from Connie Pillich, potential 2018 candidate for governor, about the challenges of running in Hamilton County.
• The Ohio District 2 Indivisible/ODP Truth Team presented information about their activities and instructions on how to become involved. The recent push-back at Republican townhall meetings is the work, in part, of Indivisible teams. This grassroots organization had done a phenomenal job of organizing those who want to resist what is going on in Washington. If active engagement is your thing, we encourage you to get involved. Attached is the Indivisible Guide
. Check out http://www.indivisible513.org/index.html
for a list of upcoming events.
• An important upcoming event is the Hamilton County Democratic Fundraiser on Friday, March 24th from 4:30-6:30. U.S. Senator Cory Booker will be the speaker. It is pricey at $150 per person. Please let us know if you want to attend ASAP because if we have enough people we can buy a table as a club or as the Little Miami Democratic Collaborative (the umbrella for our club and the Wooster Corridor Democratic Club).
Our next meeting is March 12th, and we will have a speaker on the Affordable Care Act.
The first meeting of the Little Miami Democratic Collaborative will be on April 23rd at 7:00 p.m. – more details to follow.
Finally, the club members decided to run the club on donations rather than dues. Please send cash or check donations to:

Hope to see everyone next month,
